Grab A Free Storybook to Celebrate Child of Light's Anniversary
"Has it really been a year?" "So it would seem, my dear." "Stop that." "No." 05.03.15 - 12:03 AM It's been just over a year since we visited the vibrant fairy-tale land of Lemuria in Ubisoft's Child of Light. To celebrate, Ubisoft has released a special downloadable storybook set in the Child of Light universe. The book was penned by Jeffrey Yohalem, the writer for the main game, and features gorgeous artwork and a tale centered around Reginald the Great. “From the start, we wanted to explore Lemuria from different perspectives and protagonists. The illustrated books are set a couple of years after the events of the game and follow the adventures of Reginald, the son of Robert and Margaret,” says Ubisoft creative director Patrick Plourde. Ubisoft says that other downloadable storybooks are in the works, and that fans will be able to contribute something via Facebook and Twitter in the near future. For now, you can download the new storybook here. Editor-in-chief John McCarroll reviewed Child of Light upon release, so if you'd like to hear his thoughts on the game, you can read his review.
