A crossover between Atlus' Shin Megami Tensei series and Nintendo's Fire Emblem series was announced for the Wii U way back in 2013. Since then, we've heard precious little about the game, save for the occasional reassurance that, yes, Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem was still a thing. Now, in today's Nintendo Direct, we can see our first actual look at what has been dubbed "Shin Megami Tensei & Fire Emblem Crossover Project," and it is glorious.
Little is known about the game at this time, other than that it seems to feature original characters, as well as a robot rocket horse (possibly a Pegasus Knight?). Now, I don't know about you, but the rocket robot horse already has me sold. That, and the gameplay footage seen in the preceding trailer is giving me mad Persona vibes. We may not know much about this game right now, but rest assured, the intrepid RPGFan crew will keep their eyes and ears peeled for any more information.
