Unraveled, a new Kickstarter project that may interest RPG and music fans alike, is seeking funding. Described as "a heartfelt '80s RPG and platformer," Unraveled has a goodly amount of concept and artwork on their Kickstarter page. Perhaps most interesting though, are the composers planned to be employed via stretch goals.

At $40k Unraveled will be bringing on former Destructoid editor-in-chief and avid video game music composer and remixist Dale North. If funding reaches $50k they'll call in Hiroki Kikuta of Secret of Mana,, Soul Calibur V, and Shining Hearts fame. According to Dale North I'm not the only one excited to see how this would go. In his words, "Being able to work in any capacity alongside famed composer Hiroki Kikuta would be like having my greatest, most improbable dream suddenly coming true. It's such a fantastic thought that I still haven't fully internalized it, and I'm not sure I ever will. His work on the Mana series and others has had such an impact on my music that being able to work with him would be like coming full circle."

At the time of this writing Unraveled has raised just shy of $1,600 USD with a little more than three weeks left for the Kickstarter. Be sure to check out their page if the project interests you, or if you just want Dale North's dream to come true!

We'll have a preview based on the game's demo coming very soon, so if you're interested, either keep an eye out for that or try it yourself!
