Go ahead, get your wallet out.

We reported some details earlier this week about Unsung Story, the upcoming game from the mind of Yasumi Matusno. It seemed like details on the title would be scarce for some time, but that couldn't be any further form the truth. Playdek, the game's developer, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to begin crowd-sourcing some funds.

The game's Kickstarter page is pretty exhaustive and offers a ton of information on not only the game itself, but also the team behind it, backer rewards, and of course - stretch goals. Glancing down this list, there's all kinds of fancy and exciting extras being offered and that's just great. What we really need to pay attention to, however, is that if the campaign hits $1.8 million, the game will be released on PS Vita. If it gets all the way up to $2.8 million, it'll see a 3DS release.

Sure, we could play a brand new tactics RPG from the director of Final Fantasy Tactics, on a mobile device with a touchscreen. But why would you ever want to do that when you could play it on a dedicated gaming machine with honest to goodness buttons? Buttons!

In any case, here's the Kickstarter link so you can check it out for yourself, and possible throw some money at it, if you're so inclined.
