The first RPG I ever played was Pokemon: Blue Version. Coincidentally, Pokemon as a phenomenon was my first exposure to Anime and Japanese pop culture as a whole. Another huge interest of mine. Needless to say, I was 7 years old and my life was forever changed. My Pokemon obsession lead to my purchase of Super Smash Brothers, which exposed me to Zelda. I spent a pretty decent chunk of my childhood wishing I was Link. I take that back, I still wish I was Link. From there, I acquired an interest in any game with a character holding a sword on the cover. You can probably guess how excited I was when I first laid eyes on the box art for Final Fantasy VII.
After that, it was down the rabbit hole I went. I've been consumed games and gaming culture ever since. During high school, video games briefly took a back seat in my life while I spent my days immersed in the dark, dark world of competitive trading card games, but all of that ended the day I picked up a title called Persona 3. Since then, I have spent way too much money amassing what I like to believe is a pretty impressive library of games.
Currently, I am in school to try and hone my writing skills so that I might someday be able to receive some form of valuable currency in exchange for the words that I write. When I'm not playing games, I spend my free time building model Gundams and finding new music to listen to. I attend as many concerts and conventions as I can afford to go to, and I obsessively refresh my twitter feed. I love a good conversation and I'm always looking for new people to interact with. Please be excited for my contributions to this fantastic website.
