Xenogears PERFECT WORKS To Be Reprinted
And yes, it's still going to be in Japanese.

Japanese bookseller, Fukkan, has announced today that it will be printing more copies of the Xenogears PERFECT WORKS fanbook this spring. Digicube, the original publisher, has since gone out of business and the book was becoming more expensive and harder to find.

For those unfamiliar, PERFECT WORKS was a sort of reference guide that tried to fill fans in on all of the elements of the overarching story of the classic Playstation title. It also contains a bunch of art that did not make it to the final game.

The text is all in Japanese, but I would bet that there are some Xenogears fans that are serious enough to import the book regardless of whether or not they can read it. If all else fails, there's an excellent fan translation that's available online.

Fukkan plans to start selling copies of the new print run this March. If you can navigate their website, here's the link. And if you're feeling particularly nostalgic, or have never gotten a chance to play Xenogears, you can check out RPGFan's (fairly old) review.
