Hothead Games' lovable (?) character DeathSpank was either very bored, or has a bit of an undergarment fetish. We're not sure there's any other logical explanation for his trying on all six Thongs of Virtue at once in the DeathSpank games' follow-up, The Baconing. In any case, the result isn't pretty - in doing so, he kind of summons an evil version of himself, the Anti-Spank.
To combat the evil, DeathSpank has to destroy five of the six thongs... in the Fires of Bacon. The Baconing promises new worlds, over 100 quests, local co-op play once again from a choice of sidekicks, and all kinds of new enemies, weapons and armour. Some time ago, we showed you a teaser trailer, but the Vancouver-based developer has released a bit more media since. Here's an actual trailer:
Our first gallery update (below) has five screens, a logo and a piece of artwork. The Baconing heads to PC, Mac and 'other platforms' sometime this summer.
