Hothead Games Announces The Baconing

Now here's a game title that we think XSEED Games would be jealous of. Vancouver-based Hothead Games, has a follow-up to the silly yet popular DeathSpank games in the works: The Baconing. The rather sodium-rich title delves into the Bacon Fires mythology where DeathSpank, who makes a new friend in Bob from Marketing, will go after Anti-Spank. The game will retain DeathSpank's gameplay, but will bring you across characters both old and new.

They also shared a brief but amusing teaser trailer.

The trailer promises that The Baconing will be released on the PC, Mac and 'other formats' (likely XBLA and PSN) sometime this summer.
