Believe the rumours (and hints)!

It has been over ten years since the lost chapter of the Persona series was released in Japan. Fans have cried out for an official localization, but their pleas have thus far fallen on seemingly deaf ears. Our hopes were raised last week when a curious e-mail took us back to 1999 and teased the reveal we've all been waiting for. A few days later, the whispered rumour has become reality. Late last night, right after the Dark Hour, Atlus sent out a newsletter announcing the North American release of Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 2: Innocent Sin for the PSP.
If you haven't been following our coverage of the game, Persona 2: Innocent Sin is a PSP remake of Persona 2: Eternal Punishment's other half. The game follows protagonist Tatsuya Suou and his friends as they discover the mystery behind a recent phenomenon where deadly rumours are becoming true. The PSP remake features remastered graphics presented in a 16:9 aspect ratio, a streamlined user interface, both the classic soundtrack and a new arranged version, new quests, and a new intro movie.
