Fallout 2 Coming to Mac

As we hinted at late last month, Fallout 2 has been announced as coming to the Mac, along with the already-announced Fallout (1). Unlike the first game however, Fallout 2 has never been released on the Mac. As expected, MacPlay will be publishing it, with the hard workers at The Omni Group taking care of porting duties. Seeing as how The Omni Group specializes in Mac OS X programs, Fallout 2 will only run on OS X.

Surprisingly, while the announcement was just made recently, the game is due out before August. The game is already in final testing, and MacPlay aims to have limited copies available for sale at MacWorld Expo New York, which starts on July 17th. For the general public not attending the show, the game will hit retail stores on July 31st, with a price of $29.99.
