Remember, remember the RPGs of November.
11.03.17 - 9:50 PM

Just a friendly reminder that you can get an extra hour of RPG fun this week with Daylight Savings time this Sunday. It's only an hour, but sometimes that's all you need. You could even use that extra hour to read all the awesome stuff on RPGFan, and this week we have a lot for you to check out. We have news stories from Peter Triezenberg and Trent Argirov, and reviews from Nathan Lee and Nicholas Ransbottom.

So Shin Megami Tensei V might not be coming out anytime soon, but that doesn't mean we wouldn't see a lot of updates about the game. This is mostly thanks to the Unreal Engine 4 helping development along. I have a good feeling we're going to be hearing a lot about it in the coming months, and I am excited to learn more.

So as much as I love sports, there is one sport I kind of hate to play and watch, and that is golf. It always feels so boring and slow, and I just can't be bothered 90% of the time. I do, however, like golf games for some strange reason, and now for whatever reason, there is a golf RPG. So the question remains, is Golf Story a hole in one, or did it double boogy? Check out Nicholas Ransbottom's review before you hit the links yourself.

The Secret of Mana Remake cannot get here fast enough, and now we got a brand new trailer for it. The hype is building, and I am just hoping and praying they do right by this remake and make it amazing. Even though Secret of Mana is a fantastic game, there are so many things they can improve on it in this remake to make it extraordinary.

So Episode Ignis will not be a cooking sidequest, and there will be no new recipes to discover; but, hey, getting to know happened to Ignis during Final Fantasy XV is always a good thing. He is still my favorite character of the quartet, and I am kind of excited for this DLC, which hasn't been the case for the rest of it.

I know, I know, we don't actually cover Monster Hunter on the site (except when we do), but hey, every once in a while there comes a game for a series that falls under the RPGFan coverage. And wouldn't you know it, Monster Hunter Stories just happens to be one of those games. If you're excited to slay some Rathalos in a story based game, then check out Nathan Lee's review.
