This Week On PSN: Soul Sacrifice Demo, Dragon Fantasy Book I
And a few odds and ends.
04.17.13 - 7:55 PM

With all the maintenance that the PlayStation Network had been undergoing, this week's PS Store update was a little later than usual, going up today instead of yesterday. The update brings a few things of interest to RPG fans (and no, I don't mean the big Grand Theft Auto sale, but hey if that's your thing...!).

We already mentioned Sacred Citadel ($14.99), its demo and its day-one DLC ($4.99). Last week, Dragon Fantasy Book I was also announced - it is available for $9.99, or $7.99 if you're a PS+ member. Because this is a cross-buy title, you need only purchase it once and you can download and play on both your PS3 and Vita.

Also of much interest is the demo for Keiji Inafune's Vita title, Soul Sacrifice. The full game is set to go on sale April 30th, and Inafune breaks down the concepts behind Soul Sacrifice in this short, concise interview clip with the PS Blog below.

Odds and ends: If you'd rather create a game, RPG Maker III ($9.99) is available as a PS2 Classic. Atlus' Knights in the Nightmare (PSP) is currently on sale for $7.49. Finally, there's a free DLC battle for Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory, called The Pedigree of Justice, available to download.
