Sacred Citadel Available Now, Launch Trailer
A sidescroller whose story will tie in to Sacred 3...
04.17.13 - 7:03 PM

The side-scrolling action RPG Sacred Citadel was released digitally this week, a title developed by Southend Interactive set in the Sacred universe. Its events will eventually lead up to Sacred 3, which is currently in development and should release later this year. Players choose between classes such as warriors, rangers and shaman, each with their own skillsets, though all will be able to double-jump their way through the title, dual-wield weapons, ride mounts and perform combos. The multiplayer mode supports up to three players in drop-in/drop-out co-op.

Just as a warning, if you're not exactly into dubstep, you may want to turn the volume down and just watch the launch trailer for the unique graphics style instead.

Sacred Citadel (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) costs $15, or 1200 MSP - a demo is also available if you would rather try before you buy. Looks like there's already some $5 DLC available, too.
