Falcom Announces Duo of PSP Titles
3D fighting game and Oath in Felghana remake in the works.
11.25.09 - 11:06 AM

Nihon Falcom is working on two new PlayStation Portable games. The first one is a remake of Ys: The Oath in Felghana which was originally released for the PC platform four years ago. Falcom has yet to discuss potential improvements or additions exclusive to the game's portable version, though.

Ys: The Oath in Felghana for PlayStation Portable will be available in Japan on April 22nd for 5,040 yen (USD).

The second game seems to be Falcom's answer to Square Enix's Dissidia Final Fantasy and Bandai Namco's Tales of VS. Fittingly titled Ys VS Sora no Kiseki, this 3D fighting game will pit popular characters from the Ys and Eiyuu Densetsu (Legend of Heroes) Sora no Kiseki series against each other. So far, Adol Christin, Dogi, Olha (all Ys series), Estelle and Joshua Bright, Tita Russell (all Sora no Kiseki trilogy) have been confirmed to appear in the game. Ys VS Sora no Kiseki will feature a multiplayer mode supporting up to four players at once. The developers are also including a character-specific story mode.

Ys VS Sora no Kiseki will go on sale in Japan sometime next year.
