Square Enix is working on an international version of its popular fighting game Dissidia Final Fantasy for PlayStation Portable. Titled Dissidia Final Fantasy: Universal Tuning, the new release is based on the US version. Accordingly, it will offer English voice-overs with Japanese subtitles. However, Japanese voice acting will also be present in the game, at least partially. Other changes include more than 100 adjustments of abilities and the addition of an arcade mode featuring a time attack element. Last but not least, owners of the first release will be able to re-use their save data.

Dissidia Final Fantasy: Universal Tuning will be available on November 1st in Japan. The UMD release will retail for 5,040 yen ($53.43 USD), while the download will cost 4,000 yen ($42.40 USD).
