MonolithSoft Developing GameCube RPG

As announced last week, Namco revealed its plans for future games on both the GameCube and Game Boy Advance. One of these was simply known as an 'original RPG' for the GameCube, with nothing else known.

Well, there's still not much more known than that, but it is known now, that the people behind the game are none other than MonolithSoft, makers of Xenosaga. While the title, premise, release date, and pretty much everything else is a complete mystery, the game is to be GameCube-exclusive.

Could it be Xenosaga Episode II? Well, no. While Xenosaga Episode I is the only title the company has produced thus far, it's unlikely that they would move the series to a different platform after just one game. An enhanced version of Episode I? Probably not, since it's being labeled an 'exclusive' title.

So what could it be? Who knows. Will it be at E3? Doubtful. But hey, one day it will be revealed, and we'll be sure to report it.
