RPGFan Game of the Month

Game of the Month October 2012: Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward
Few games manage to provide both a compelling story and addictive gameplay, but Virtue's Last Reward succeeds at doing just that without flashy gameplay systems or animated cutscenes. Spike Chunsoft's adventure through a second nonary game provides thrills, chills, and many other things ending in -ills. What it does best, however, is allowing exploration of a massive branching timeline with different results based on the decisions you make. Unlocking puzzles by finding answers for questions in other branches is easily one of the best quests this year. If you own either a 3DS or a Vita, you owe it to yourself to check out this brilliant title.
