NIS America has announced that they will be porting The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III to the Nintendo Switch, to be released during the spring of 2020 within North America and Europe. A Japanese release will subsequently follow, though no timeframe was specified.
The Falcom-developed JRPG will run at a native 30 frames per second and 720p resolution in both docked (console) and undocked (handheld) modes. This edition of the game will also launch with special editions, akin to the original release on PlayStation 4, as well as each version including all current downloadable content released since launch. Players interested in this tale will also have access to a demo, before the game's release upon the Nintendo Switch.
