The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Gets Release Date
Multi-platform release scheduled for early 2020.
Fans of the new The Dark Crystal series on Netflix can rejoice — a new multi-platform RPG based on the series is coming in February of 2020. The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance is a turn-based tactical strategy game with a plot that runs parallel to the successful Netflix Original Series. The game is set in the fantasy world of Thra, where players will work to unite the seven Gelfling clans against the evil Skeksis.
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance has over 15 characters and jobs, so players can create a myriad of unit combinations. Independent developer BonusXP said their aim with the game was to deliver both tactical depth and ease of accessibility for newer players. The game will be available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, the Xbox One family of devices, and PC/Mac on February 4th, 2020.
