Recently, Sega hosted a 55-minute livestream which showed off new gameplay for the upcoming Yakuza: Like A Dragon, or Yakuza 7 as it's known in Japan. During the stream, series producer Toshihiro Nagoshi walked through some of the extras available, including karaoke, a fan-favorite mini-game from the series, and a new feature that allows Kasuga to kill time at a movie theater with his companions. Additionally, this stream shined a spotlight on the Dancer, Host, Idol, and Bodyguard job classes — further emphasizing the RPG mechanics which will allow players to customize their experience to the fullest! You can see the full stream below to get a good look at the game in action.

In addition to the awesome new footage, Sega has released the final Japanese box art for the game, seen below, which will release for PlayStation 4 on January 16th in Japan. A 2020 release date is planned for Europe and the Americas, but Western fans will have to keep waiting a bit longer.
