New Fairy Tail Characters Revealed, Story Details
I'm gonna find the treasure and be king of the mages!... Wait, wrong anime.
Earlier this year, Koei Tecmo revealed a brand new title based on the Fairy Tail anime and manga, and today we have some exciting new details to share!
For those unfamiliar with the series, Fairy Tail follows the adventures of Natsu and his crew of wizards as they travel through a world full of adventure! The game itself will take place roughly in the middle of the series, as the Fairy Tail guild is on the brink of demise. When all hope is lost, Natsu and his crew reappear to return Fairy Tail to its former glory, and reclaim their position as the top guild. Players will get the chance to experience the Tenrou Island arc, the Grand Magic Games arc, and the Tartaros arc, along with some newly created arcs designed to flesh out the cast even more!
Natsu won't be the only playable wizard on this mission however. The Iron Dragon Slayer Gajeel Redfox and the User of Water Juvia Lockser will also be playable, along with fan favorite characters Lucy Heartfilia, Gray Fullbuster. Erza Scarlet, and Wendy Marvell! Along with the main story, players will also be able to take on quests from the guild, ranging from easy Rank D missions to difficult Rank S missions, and earn new gear, money, and most importantly, more renown for the Fairy Tail guild. It's up to you to rise from the ashes and become the greatest guild in all of Fiore!
