Now that information is flowing for 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, the updates just won't stop! Today, we have a bevy of new information, from the game's Sentinels, characters, enemies, and more!

First up, what we've all been waiting for: giant robots! The game has four different types of Sentinels: melee, balanced, ranged, and aerial support. We have information on three of those Sentinel types.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

The First Generation Sentinel Sentinel focuses on close-range combat. Of the four types, it is the oldest. The pilots Nenji Ogata, Ei Sekigahara, and Takatoshi Hijiyama control melee types named No. 10, 11, and 12.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

The Third Generation Sentinel focuses on long-range combat. The pilots Tom Kisaragi, Natsuno Minami, and Kaitaro Miura control long-range types No. 16, 17, and 19.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

Lastly, we have the Fourth Generation Sentinel, an aerial type that uses two giant tilt-rotors to provide support from the sky. The pilots Shuu Amikuchi, Yuki Takamiya, Renya Gouto, and Megumi Yakushiji control aerial support types No. 20, 21, 22, and 23.

Giant robots wouldn't be complete without giant enemies to fight. Each stage of the game, a forecast of what enemy Kaijuu will appear is shown. Each Sentinel has its specialty, so it is best to choose accordingly to what Kaijuu are appearing.

Kaijuu come in a variety of shapes and sizes. The Workers only stand at a mere eight meters tall, but they still prove quite a nuisance with their large groups that barrel through buildings.

On the other hand, Jimora are 35 meters are covered in a thick armor not even missiles and machine cannons can scratch. Be careful getting close; these babies specialize in melee combat.

Another bad Kaijuu to look out for is the Drum Mine. Looking like a wheel detached from a car, the Drum Mines are filled with hexogen and explode when it comes in contact with a Sentinel.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

Be on the look out for the Twin Tail. Instead of twin tail braids, this Kaijuu is armed with missiles and gatling guns!

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

Another small Kaijuu at 5 meters, the Hunter is a little drone that flies with two tilt-rotors and attacks with small lazers while in formation.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

Another flying Kaijuu, the Drill Fly is 30 meters tall and also digs. While in the air, it shoots missiles and machine guns. Unfortunately, this Kaijuu's defense is very heigh as well.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

The only thing fearsome about the Apsos Kaijuu is its ability to shield its comrades. Any Kaijuu hit while covered in the Apsos's shield receives zero damage.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

And the Kaijuu just keep getting bigger! The Tera Carrier deploys waves of Hunter Kaijuu. However, it is capable of attacking with machine guns as well and has strong armor.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

Along with the Tera Carrier, the Mobile Fac also generates small and medium-sized Kaijuus as it grabs surrounding materials throughout the city.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

Lastly, we have the towering High Squad Kaijuu. Standing over 100 meters tall, this Kaijuu features stronger armor and a plasma cannon that can burn even though the armor of Sentinels.

Defeating any of these Kaijuu nets you experience points as well as Metachips. Experience points level up your characters and grant them character-specific abilities. On the other hand, Metachips strengthen your Sentinel as well as grant you new weapons and upgrades.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

With the giant robots out of the way, let's take a look at some of the humans in 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim! First, we have Erika Aiba, a mysterious student of class 1-D. An avid detective novel reader, she sees herself as Watson to Takamiya's Sherlock Holmes as they investigate the disappearance of Minami.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

Next, we have the part-time instructor, Tetsuya Ida. Though he teaches Ryouko Shinonome's class, his real identity is the chairman of the Special Intelligence Agency, a spy organization ran by the government.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

Another faculty member, Morimura-Sensei is the nurse and teacher of class 1-B at Sakura High School.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

Shippo comes from a long line of talking cats in RPGs. This talking cat approaches Megumi Yakushiji and tells her he can save Juurou as long as she partakes in a difficult mission.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

Not quite Sentinel or Kaijuu, BJ is a tiny, 60 centimeter robot that was found by Natsuno Minami. The little robot requests for help to find his missing memory cells.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

Straight out of 1985, Takemi Wajima is a gang leader at Nigakuri Tech High School. Though this hooligan, nicknamed "Nigakuri Take," comes off as strong by his foul language and appearance, he is actually quite weak.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim

Heizou Onishi is a police officer from the juvenile crimes department of the Kamazumi Ward. Though he can be strict, he is a police officer with a heart of gold. Even children will refer to him casually as "Oni-hei." As one would expect with Takemi Wajima's reputation, the two know each other.
