Koei Tecmo and Gust graced us with new details on their upcoming RPG based on the manga/anime series, FairyTail! What's better than being part of a guild? Why, being part of a guild full of friends!
While becoming the best guild in Fiore, you will have a selection of over 10 characters from the series to join your battles! Party members include Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia, Gray Fullbuster, Erza Scarlet, Wendy Marvell, and more! There will even be a party of unlikely allies with their own quest.
Completing quests and battles with your allies not only level up your characters but your Guild Rank as well! The higher your rank, the more challenging quests to partake in! Furthermore, in typical Gust fashion, completing quests and battles also lead to specific character events.
Your guild will have a variety of magic to call upon during battles! Natsu, for example, will be able to switch to different modes in battle, such as the Fire Dragon Mode. Also, some guild members will be able to provide support, such as Guild Master Makarov Dreyar!
If you are a fan of the original manga and anime, you might be wondering where in the series the game takes place. Wonder no more! Fairy Tail will follow "The Grand Magic Games" arc, a fan-favorite storyline that will also be expanded upon with new story and added quests.
