Developer Obsidian and publisher Versus Evil have announced that Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire will be anchoring itself on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch. Check out the announcement trailer below!
Originally released in 2018 for Windows, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire tells the story of a rampant god, known as Eothas, now free, and you, the Watcher, and your companions, setting sail across the Deadfire Archipelago to stop him.
The Ultimate Edition will contain the base game, all three released DLC expansions (Beast of Winter, The Forgotten Sanctum and, Seeker, Slayer, Survivor), and a fully functional Turn Based mode for players seeking a change of pace. All in all, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire coming to consoles means more players can experience the intricacies of a world steeped in lore and mystery, and that can only be a good thing.
