13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Introduces Main Characters
There's a lot to take in from this ensemble cast.
Atlus and Vanillaware have begun to release new information on their long-awaited title 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim starting with the 13 character main cast. Each member is pictured alongside a brief description below.
Juurou is a 16 year old student that attends Sakura High School. He is a movie buff that makes sure to watch at least one movie per day. His daily life was full of unease until a giant robot suddenly appears.
Megumi is an excellent cook, utilizing her talent by preparing bento lunches and dinner for Kurabe and Miura. She has a serious personality and does not show her emotions much, but reserves a huge affection for Kurabe due to his family taking her in.
Ei is a mysterious boy who awakens next to a dead woman. Little is known about him other than that he is being pursued by men dressed in black and he has a message from his past self that says "Escape this world".
Iori is a cheerful, popular and likable student. Her grades are average, but in her case she either does very well or very poorly on her subjects. Lately, she has been having trouble sleeping and has been experiencing strange dreams when she does sleep. She has a crush on Sekigahara.
Keitaro is a thoughtful, serious young man who cares deeply for his sister and loves his country. He wears his hat to conceal a wound on his forehead. He and Hijiyama are senpai and kouhai in the same town.
Natsuno is an upbeat and honest member of the track team who is interested in the occult and interacting with aliens. She is very close with her neighbor, old lady Tamao (Juurou Karabe's grandmother).
Shuu is an athletic playboy who was born into money. As a result, he has frivolous tendencies, but is very sociable so most tend to like him. Despite indulging in the finer things in life, he finds modern society to be dull.
Lately he has been worried about a dream he has been having of a mysterious girl on television.
Yuki is a skilled sukeban (delinquent) girl that has an infamous reputation throughout several schools. She has a strong sense of justice, always stand up and fight for her friends. Natsumo Minami is her childhood friend and the only person she feels comfortable opening up to.
Takatoshi is an honest and very masculine young man. He once a mistook a boy named Okino for a girl due to the fact he was cross-dressing. Okino has teased him for this incident. Although he admits the situation was not all bad.
Tomi is a girl that comes off as sassy and lacking self-control, but has a persistent personality and strong will that allows her to overcome adversity. She is nicknamed Usami.
Nenji is a young delinquent with a caring personality and old-soul that is reflected in his style. He developed a reputation among other delinquents starting in middle school due to his bravery and standing strong in fights.
Ryouko is a girl whom little is known about. She must constgantly take medication to remain conscious and prevent severe headaches. After an accident in battle, she has had trouble remembering her past.
Finally we have Renya, the leader of the Sentinel pilots with the assertiveness and demeanor befitting of a leader.
13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is due for PlayStation 4 on November 28th in Japan. No international release has been announced, but stay tuned to RPGFan for updates on 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.
