Project Sakura Wars Releases This December in Japan
A new trailer reveals that Project Sakura Wars is an action RPG.

Good news, Sakura Wars fans! Not only did Sega stream a brand new trailer for Project Sakura Wars, they also revealed the game's Japanese release date! Project Sakura Wars releases in Japan on December 12th, 2019. North America and Europe are still set for Spring 2020.

Below is the new trailer, showcasing characters and the new action battle system:

Japanese players have the option to grab the first-print copy of the limited edition, which includes a 72-page art book and a 60-track soundtrack that spans the entire Sakura Wars series. We'll just have to see if North America and Europe get a similar opportunity!
