The Phantom Thieves are at it again! Morgana, Persona 5's feline mascot, revealed new features for the Royal edition in his third report!

The biggest news from the video revolves around the new area in the game, Kichijoji. Various places in Kichijoji allow not only for you and your comrades to improve your friendship but also help improve your abilities. Playing darts, for example, also improves your Baton Pass rank. Billiards, jazz club, a temple, and more facilities await you to improve your abilities, perhaps even strengthening your Persona and SP in the process!

Also in Kichijoji, a "Rag Shop" is available for you to trade in armor you found in Mementos or Palaces for money and trade-in points. Who knows, maybe you'll get something good with those points!

Persona 5 Royal also adds new features to battles. Improving your relationship with your comrades unlocks a combination attack called "Show Time." Special skills can also be equipped by finding certain accessories. And now, every Persona has a special Trait that can be carried over into fusion.

Also, Morgana assures fans that, even though the Royal edition is getting a huge amount of new content, the original story of Persona 5 will remain the same but with "an episode untold in Persona 5 will unfold."

Lastly, enjoy a new trailer centered around the Phantom Thieves' resident artist, Yusuke Kitagawa!

Morgana is expected to release another report in August. Persona 5 Royal releases on PlayStation 4 in Japan on October 31st and sometime in 2020 in the West.
