Phantasy Star Online 2 Coming to "All Platforms"
Great news for Phantasy Star fans! 06.15.19 - 10:29 AM Earlier this week, Microsoft shocked the world by revealing that Phantasy Star Online 2 would be coming to the west on the Xbox One. Fans were nervous that PSO2 would be an Xbox exclusive, but Phil Spencer, the Vice-President of gaming for Microsoft, has revealed that Phantasy Star Online 2 will feature on other consoles as well! In an interview with Giant Bomb during E3, Spencer had this to say, "It was so cool to have (Sega) on our stage and work with them. And yes, it'll end up on all platforms. That's not the point. To me, the point was to be able to have Sega back on our stage. It's been awhile." In Japan, Phantasy Star Online 2 is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, and PC. While I personally doubt we'll see the Vita version in the west, I think chances are high that the PS4, Switch, and PC versions will make their way over to the west! Phantasy Star Online 2 is set to release on Xbox One, with other consoles to be revealed at a later date. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more news and info on your favorite games!
