Steam Leaks New Borderlands 2 DLC
A new expansion to bridge the gap to Borderlands 3. 06.07.19 - 10:42 PM Ever since the reveal of Borderlands 3 earlier this year, fans have been craving any new details for the upcoming game. While Tales From The Borderlands provided some new insight into the world of Pandora, there's still a large chunk of story missing to bridge the gap. Fortunately, we might be getting some new insight into the upcoming game, thanks to a recent posting on Steam. Appearing briefly on Steam earlier this week, a new Borderlands 2 DLC, entitled, "Commander Lilith & The Fight for Sanctuary" quickly appeared and disappeared on the game's page. Thanks to a sharp-eyed poster on Restera, we can take a small glimpse into what this DLC has to offer! "Sanctuary is under siege, the Vault's map has been stolen, and a toxic gas is poisoning Pandora. Fight new bosses, explore new zones, get new loot (including an entirely new tier beyond Legendary) and join up with Lilith and the Crimson Raiders to take on a deranged villain hell-bent on ruling the planet." Previous players will be able to use their character from Borderlands 2 with an increased level cap of 80, while new players can begin their adventure with a level 30 character. With Microsoft's E3 presentation happening this Sunday, hopefully we'll get an official announcement for this DLC. Borderlands 2 is currently available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, along with being available in the Handsome Collection for PS4 and Xbox One.
