The Dragon Quest series is bigger than ever. With an animated movie on the way and a newly announced mobile game called Dragon Quest Walk, it comes as no surprise that Square Enix is already planning on Dragon Quest XII.
During the announcement of Dragon Quest Walk (a Pokémon Go-esque Dragon Quest spinoff that was teased last week), producer Yu Miyake confirmed him and series creator Yuji Horii are making preparations for Dragon Quest XII. However, it will be awhile until the game is released. No other news about the title were shared.
In the meantime, the enhanced Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of An Elusive Age - Definitive Edition releases on the Nintendo Switch this fall. You can check out our original review for Dragon Quest XI here.
