Fans waiting patiently for more Dragon Quest will be excited to hear that Dragon Quest Builders 2 is available now for digital pre-purchase from the Nintendo Switch eShop! Those who pre-purchase the title will receive exclusive in-game items when the game launches on July 12th.
Details for upcoming DLC packs for Dragon Quest Builders 2 have also been revealed, adding new recipes, items, locations, and customization options to this already robust release. Each of the DLC packs detailed below will be made available separately or at a discounted price as part of the season pass.
Beginning on July 26th, players will be able to receive three recipes which will allow them to make the Pretty Paddle, Celebratory Soup, and Ornate Adornment as part of the free Knickknack Pack add-on.
Also launching on July 26th, the Hotto Stuff paid DLC pack will add more than 40 recipes, which will feature items used to make buildings resemble The Hotto Steppe resting area, as well as an exclusive island where players will gather the various materials necessary for crafting these items.
Later this year, on August 2nd, players will want to prepare themselves for aquatic action when the Aquarium Pack releases. With a new island full of quests and characters, more than 40 different fish which can be added to a DIY aquarium, and more, this pack is truly a swimming addition. Unlock the fishing rod and customization options including swimwear, straw hats, and the ponytail hairstyle for some summer fun under the sun.
Finally, on August 9th, the Modernist Pack will arrive, adding more than 70 recipes which will help players craft modern-looking buildings, fashion options, and hairstyles. Take your architectural skills to a new level and craft a fashionable luxury hotel for all of your Slime friends!
