Capcom's upcoming Iceborne expansion for Monster Hunter World received an official release date and a new trailer showcasing some of the frozen fun awaiting hunters later this year. Check out the brand new trailer below and read on for more details.
In this massive expansion, players will adventure through the brand new Hoarfrost Reach locale. In this treacherous tundra, hunters will face off against familiar foes, like the returning Nargacuga, and entirely new ones, like the mysterious elder dragon, Velkhana. Additionally, new monsters like the stampeding Banbaro, the snow-plowing Beotodus, and more will be on the prowl, so stay alert!
Hunters will be able to take advantage of the Clutch Claw, which now allows your hunter to grapple onto monsters like never before, as well as new actions, upgraded customized parts, and new attack moves and Slinger combos for all weapon types to help tackle even the toughest opponents.
More information is on the way for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, so be on the lookout around E3 to learn more. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6th, with PC receiving the update at a later date.
