Hajime Tabata's JP Games Teams Up With the International Paralympic Committee for The Pegasus Dream Tour
This will be the first ever video game based on the Paralympics. 04.17.19 - 10:29 PM After leaving Square Enix and starting JP Games, Hajime Tabata announced the first game of his fledgling company. Working with the International Paralympic Committee for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, The Pegasus Dream Tour is a sports-themed RPG. The game is set in a fantasy city known as Pegasus City. Each player has their own unique "Xtra Power" and uses it to compete in the game's version of the Paralympics. The game is aimed at getting a younger audience interested in the Paralympic Games. Hajime Tabata had this to say about The Pegasus Dream Tour: Right now, I'm developing the official game for the International Paralympic Committee. It's called "The Pegasus Dream Tour." I wish to thank everyone involved, who helped me up to this point and make this announcement today. You'll be able to enjoy the game when the timing's right in 2020. So stay tuned. Beyond smartphones, the game is yet to be confirmed on any other particular platform, but JP Games does want it to be as accessible as possible.
