Witcher III: The Wild Hunt x Monster Hunter: World Collaboration Coming To PCs in Early May
Armor sets and weapons to earn! 04.09.19 - 10:20 PM CD Projekt Red and Capcom have combined both Geralt of Rivia and the thrilling pursuit of monster hunting in the New World for PC players, with the Witcher III: The Wild Hunt x Monster Hunter: World collaboration starting on May 9th worldwide. Check out a trailer, showcasing Geralt within Monster Hunter: World, below! The collaboration itself will stagger in two parts, the first starting on May 9th. Players will gain access to a new permanent quest, titled 'Contract: Trouble In The Ancient Forest', putting players in the shoes of Geralt himself as he seeks to take down a Leshen, a primal foe lifted directly from The Witcher III: The Wild Hunt. The quest itself will sport multiple endings based on player choices, as well as the oppurtunity to earn a Geralt armor set, a Witcher Silver Sword weapon set, a Nekker armor set and a Cursed Staff Palico equipment set. The second batch of content is timed, between May 17th to May 30th. A new quest will be made available, titled 'Contract: Woodland Spirit', focusing on difficulty comparable to the Death March difficulty within The Witcher III: The Wild Hunt. Players will be able to earn a Ciri armor set and the Zireael dual blades weapon set. All in all, it seems like players will be able to revel in the latest in Witcher fashion, as well as content against foes worthy to bring down within Monster Hunter World!
