A New Game From Hironobu Sakaguchi is Coming To Apple Arcade
The project is looking quite ambitious for a mobile game.

During today's announcement of Apple Arcade, a new title from Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi was teased. The new project, aptly named Fantasian, is designed using hand-made dioramas for the backgrounds with 3D characters added in, creating a synthesis of real and virtual models.

The teaser clip begins at 1:14 in the video below:

The development appears to be quite labor intensive, it's a shame that the same amount of effort was put into selecting a name.

Also of interest were the announcements of Beyond A Steel Sky, and Oceanhorn II, the former of which we'll have more to say about soon.

No time frame for the release of any of the titles was provided but Apple Arcade is set to be due out this fall.
