Square Enix has confirmed that the Romancing SaGa 3 remaster, slated for an early 2019 release, has been delayed to an unknown time-frame. The confirmation came via the first official broadcast for the upcoming Romancing SaGa Re: Universe mobile game.
During the broadcast, SaGa series producer Masanori Ichikawa stated that, though the title is near completion, more time is necessary to improve the quality of development.
Romancing SaGa 3 will be released in Japan for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation Vita, Windows, and smartphones. No word on a Western release date has been confirmed.
