Square Enix has revealed the existence of Last Idea, a smartphone RPG set to release, in Japan, for iOS and Android devices sometime during spring. Check out a teaser trailer below!
Last Idea will focus on a novice treasure hunter as they head, via airship, to a deserted locale known as the 'Silent Castle', to confirm signs of treasure sensed by their diviner friend known as Rahl Mel.
Upon arriving at their destination, everything goes awry.
The earth cracks and shakes, darkness leaking through and covering the sky in a single moment. Many monsters also appear, attacking the 'Silent Castle' ferociously. Ever the pragmatists, the treasure hunters seek to escape their dangerous circumstances, but upon seeing a girl about to be attacked, they stand and fight.
Square Enix, in charge of production and planning, has enlisted KAOU as the lead character designer, with Shota Kageyama (Pokemon Black & White) providing music for the title. Animation found within Last Idea will be produced by Studio A-CAT.
A Western release or localization for Last Idea has not been announced as of yet. Stay tuned to RPGFan for all news Square Enix!
