Nippon Ichi Software (NIS) has released a new trailer for their upcoming RPG Destiny Connect, showcasing both the characters, places, and story beats players are set to encounter during their playtime. Check it out below!

As covered prior to this trailer's release, Destiny Connect is centered on the ideas of time travel and the bonds between friends, set in the town of Clocknee. As seen in the trailer above, the story will revolve around a young girl named Sherry trying to fix time itself, when its flow suddenly stops in the middle of a town festival. Helping her in this endeavor are Pegreo, her shy and smart friend, and a time-traveling robot named Isaac, as they jump between the past and present to have time move forward correctly again.

Combat will also be a focus within Destiny Connect, with the trailer showcasing the various forms that Isaac can transform into, including a fireman form, a samurai form, and, my personal favorite, a washing machine form.

As it stands, Destiny Connect is shaping up to be a decent romp for fans of time-travel stories and young gamers alike.

Destiny Connect is set to release in Japan on March 14th for PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch. No Western localization or release date has been confirmed as of yet.
