RPGFan Launches Daily "This Day in Gaming" Video Series
You are about to enter another dimension. A dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. 12.12.18 - 11:52 PM If you follow us on social media, you've likely seen a new thing we kicked off at the beginning of the month. We've long made social media posts to highlight the anniversary of notable game releases, but we've been wanting to do a little more with them over the last couple months. Enter "RPGFan: This Day in Gaming," 30-second, daily videos that will highlight an anniversary every day. Sometimes this is a game's North American or Japanese anniversary, because either way, it's something worth noting. To properly introduce these videos, we waited until we had them going so I can show you a few here. And if you don't use social media, we're also adding every one of them to YouTube! These videos are a collaborative effort between about a half dozen of our team members. Greg Delmage, a frequent co-host on Random Encounter, has spearheaded this series since we really got into the idea last month. He's been planning, scheduling, and editing every one, and sometimes lends his lovely voice to them as well. Several others from our Twitch team and beyond have been lending their writing and voice talents as well: Kyle, Kat, Maxx, Leona, and Hilary have been tapped so far, and we're seeing about what other voices we can get on board. Check out the full YouTube Playlist so far, and you'll be able to see a new one every day on our Facebook page, our Twitter feed, plus over on Instagram, and of course YouTube. Everyone's been doing some great work, but don't take my word for it.
