WayForward Joins Development on Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

Producer Koji Igarashi and Publisher 505 Games have announced that Shantae developer WayForward has joined the development team working on upcoming release Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. Given their proven expertise and extensive experience with side-scrolling games, it seems that Bloodstained is in good hands. Additionally, new concept art for a new enemy, Cyhyreath, was also shown, which you can see below.
According to the full update from Igarashi, development is still chugging away, with WayForward jumping in to help with bugs and improvements.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is planned for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch in 2019.
