Recently, several older Telltale Games titles, like Jurassic Park and Back to the Future, have been removed from Steam's online store, following reports that the developer is filing for bankruptcy. Telltale has also hired an outside firm to help the company along through the process, including the liquidation of all of Telltale's possessions and assets. Despite this, newer titles such as The Walking Dead and Tales from the Borderlands remain available.

In September, over 275 employees were laid off from the company without severance pay, and while Telltale leadership wasn't determined to support their passionate, dedicated employees, they vowed to find the means to bring the remaining episodes of The Walking Dead to fans. Though many of the former Telltale staffers have resumed work on the remaining chapters after the project was revived by Skybound Entertainment, it is unknown how many are still facing hardships in the wake of Telltale's closure.

The games missing from Steam are still available for purchase on console stores, but with lawsuits filed by former employees and the impending bankruptcy proceedings, there's no telling how long these titles will remain available.
