Obsidian Entertainment and Versus Evil have announced that the final paid DLC expansion for Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire will be arriving on December 13th. "The Forgotten Sanctum" DLC will bring with it new quests and a massive new dungeon to explore as the Archmages of Eora call upon the Watcher to avert a potential catastrophe.
Additionally, the next major update for the game is also slated to release on the same day and will bring new features, quests, God Challenges, and two new Mega Bosses to the Deadfire Archipelago.
"The Forgotten Sanctum" DLC will be available separately for $9.99 (USD) or as part of the Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Obsidian Edition and the Season Pass! Watchers can look forward to the final round of paid DLC as well as the new update version 4.0 patch releasing on December 13th.
Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is available now on Windows PC, Mac OS, and Linux, and will release on March 31st, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
