Rorona's daughter is following in her mother's footsteps. 10.25.18 - 2:41 PM After a long journey away, the Atelier series is finally returning to Arland! Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland follows the exploits of Elemrulia Fryxell, the daughter of original series protagonist, Rorona Fryxell. She is joined by her childhood friend, Eva Armster, as she tries to become as renowned of an alchemist as her mother. Character designs will once again be done by Mel Kishida, the original character designer for the Arland Trilogy. In this new title, expect to explore a bigger Arland. The game features returning characters and vistas from the original trilogy. However, the game is set years after the last entry in the original trilogy, Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland. But what is the series without item synthesis! Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland uses the Arland Trilogy as a base for all of its gameplay, but it will use some systems from the Mysterious series. Synthesis will be a mix of new and old. Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland releases in the West on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in Spring 2019.
