Xenoblade Chronicles X Port to Switch Uncertain
I guess we'll be stuck on a whole other console some other time.

With the last of Xenoblade Chronicles 2's DLC completed, Monolith Soft is heading into the future. However, with so many other Wii U ports heading to the Nintendo Switch, will we see Monolith Soft take a trip backwards and port Xenoblade Chronicles X to the handheld console as well? According to an interview with Tetsuya Takahashi and US Gamer, the answer is...maybe.
Well, the future at present is unclear. Personally speaking, I'd love to play the game on the Switch, but it would be really difficult to make it. It's a massive game. Re-creating it would be really difficult.
It is uncertain what Monolith Soft is currently working on. If Monolith Soft is too busy, maybe we could have a different team port X, like how Monster Games ported the original Xenoblade Chronicles to the New 3DS? Either way, I personally hope Xenoblade Chronicles X makes its way to the Nintendo Switch someday.
