Darksiders III Set To Receive Two DLC Packs After Launch
More adventure for the Fury to embark upon. 10.16.18 - 1:39 PM THQ Nordic and Gunfire Games have confirmed that Darksiders III will receive two DLC Packs after the game launches later this year. Both DLC Packs, known as "The Crucible" and "The Keepers of the Void" respectively, will add new combat scenarios, puzzles, enemy types and items for players to experience. "The Crucible" sets Fury on a wave-based combat quest, requested by a strange and unnamed entity, aiming to showcase players' combat ability and be rewarded with items and other rewards upon victory. "The Keepers of the Void", alternatively, sends Fury on a quest from Vulgrim, Darksiders perennial mischief-maker, to end an ancient threat within an area known as the Serpent Holes. Players that find themselves victorious against new enemies and puzzles will earn a new weapon as well as a new armor set, known as The Abyssal Armor. Set to release six years after the last entry in the series, Darksiders III focuses on Fury, one of the four Horseman of the Apocalypse. Set parallel to the events within the first and second games, Fury must defeat and jail the Seven Deadly Sins amidst a world steeped in the throes of a brutal apocalypse, using stylish weaponry and elementally-charged abilties to defeat her enemies. Darksiders III releases on November 27th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
