Over the years I've softened to the idea that game music outside of its context is equally as enjoyable to listen to while you're playing the game. A younger me would have slapped the back of my head having written those words, but I'm to the point where I can only play roughly 3 games a year. I've come to peace with this fact and now embrace the multitude of soundtracks that hit my office desk with a loving heart.
