In anticipation of the upcoming Pokémon games, Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu!, the lovable mascots of the Pokémon series have decided to embark on a road trip around the United States!
The Pokémon: Let's Go, Road Trip! Tour began earlier this week in Los Angeles, California, with a special appearance by hit recording artists and Pokémon fan, Jordin Sparks! The tour will continue for the following two months, and will feature a ton of Pokemon themed goodies! Each stop on the tour will feature Pikachu and Eevee themed trucks, photo opportunities for fans, special giveaways, and demo booths for the upcoming games! Each demo booth will also feature the upcoming Poké Ball Plus accessory, which is a brand new controller designed for the Pokemon: Let's Go games that looks and feels like a real life Poké Ball! Users of the social media platform Snapchat will also be able to access special Pokeemon-themed filters at each tour stop, and players of the hit mobile game Pokémon Go will notice a large amount of Pikachus and Eevees at each tour stop!
The tour dates and times are as follows,
"Pokémon games have always inspired a sense of adventure and community, and we're excited to bring that to life with the Pokémon: Let's Go, Road Trip!" said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "Whether someone is a longtime Pokémon fan or a budding Trainer, this new pair of games offers a vibrant region to explore, Trainers to battle and, of course, tons of Pokémon to catch."
Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee! are set to release on November 16th for the Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more news and info on the Pokémon series!
