Focus Home Interactive and Cyanide Studios have released a second gameplay trailer for the upcoming investigative-RPG Call of Cthulhu, focusing on both the choices and consequences that protagonist Edward Pierce will face throughout his time on Darkwater Island. Check it out below!
It seems that Call of Cthulhu is giving players the ability to create different outcomes when faced with threats mortal or existential within the game's runtime. Consequences are seen represented by a loss of sanity, with a mentally deteriorating Pierce unable to make logical or accurate deductions anymore, the visuals skewed and morphed to suit.
As it stands, Call of Cthulhu seems to be shaping up to be an interesting jaunt into the Lovecraft mythos, and a faithful adaption to its tabletop predecessor.
