Bandai Namco has released new story information, screenshots, and character information for three main characters and their Digimon partners from Digimon Survive. Join the extraordinarily ordinary Takuma Momotsuka and his partner Agumon, the quiet and reserved Aoi Shibuya and her partner Labramon, and the talkative jokester Minoru Hinata and his partner Falcomon as they must survive in a dangerous world, fighting to find their way home!

While at a historical studies extracurricular activities camp with friends, protagonist Takuma Momotsuka finds himself on an unexpected adventure. On the second day of camp, Takuma, along with his friends Aoi and Minoru, visits a shrine which will play host to the local "Beast Gods" festival. Before the festival, Takuma and his friends explore the area around the shrine, happening upon a strange monster named Koromon. Suddenly, the group hears screams ring out from not too far away, and run to help.

Rushing to the source of the cries, the friends emerge to find monsters now attacking a group of campers. Koromon, recognizing his need to defend the others, evolves into Agumon and helps Takuma fend off the assailants. During the skirmish, a thick fog has descended upon them, and Takuma begins to realize that they are now lost in an unfamiliar world.
