Catherine: Full Body Gets New Trailer, DLC Details, Special Edition

Fans of Atlus' cult classic puzzle game Catherine have been yearning for new information on the updated re-release of the game, Catherine: Full Body, ever since it was announced. Fortunately, Atlus has chosen to bestow upon us a slew of brand new information for Catherine: Full Body, and boy, is it a lot to take in! Without further delay, let's check out all this new information!

Catherine Full Body Box Art

First up, we have official box art for the game, featuring the titular Catherine, Katherine, and the newest girl to enter the fray, Qatherine, who goes by Rin. Along with the box art reveal, we also received an official Japanese release date for Catherine: Full Body, which will hit Japanese store shelves on February 19th, 2019. A western release is planned, but no official release date has been given.

Next up, we have the limited edition first print run of the game, called the, "Dynamite Full Body Box." This special edition version includes a cavalcade of extras, including,

  • Catherine: Full Body for the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation Vita.

  • Box art designed by Shigenori Soejima.

  • DLC codes for the Catherine "Ideal Voice" set, which features nine new voice actors for Catherine and allows you to change Catherine's voice both in game and in cutscenes, and the Nero Glasses, which, when worn, will show characters in new sexy lingerie during event scenes and while exploring the bar.

  • A four disk soundtrack set featuring both the original and a classically arranged soundtrack of the original Catherine, new music from Catherine: Full Body, and a commentary disk, featuring a round table discussion featuring the games voice actors.

In addition, people who purchase first print runs of Catherine: Full Body will obtain a special Persona 5 themed DLC, allowing players to play as Joker during the Babel and Colosseum modes. While playing as Joker, players will receive advice and quips from the rest of the Phantom Thieves, so this will be a must have purchase for Persona fans! All previously mentioned DLC will be available for purchase at a later date.

And finally, we have a brand new trailer for Catherine: Full Body, showing off the gameplay and cutscenes for the new game! What new mysteries will we have to unveil in this new game? Who exactly is Rin? And what will Vincent do to complicate his love life even further? We'll have to wait till next year to find out!
